Juilliard Arts Center & 3rd Space Gallery

ARTchitecture Live! returned to the Juilliard 3rd Space Gallery for March's First Friday. This live, real time building competition between teams from area middle and high schools is so exciting! Each team is given a kit with exactly the same materials to construct a structure. The only variable is the imaginations of the students participating. TEAM OWMS from Oakwood Middle school took home the prize! They did a fantastic job of brainstorming, planning and implementation to fulfill the requirements of a six story building to house Winter Olympians during the Olympics. We had a fantastic turnout to support these creative young adults. Congratulations to these creative young people and to the rest of the participants who took on the challenge of ARTchitecture LIVE!
